With the addition of our little girl, Carly Michelle, to our family I have added a new blogging outlet for myself! I attempted to start this photography project, called the 365 Challenge, with Jonah at one point, but always wished I had started at his birth and used it to document his 1st year in our life. I kind of failed at keeping up with it, but I’m wanting to try again now that I have a new little life to document as well! The idea is that I take at least one photo every day and post it on this blog. I’m sure I’ll get behind on ocassion and I’ll forget entirely on ocassion, but you’ll forgive me! I know you will! Here’s where you’ll find the 365 blog… http://365pacesfromhere.wordpress.com Enjoy!
Jonah Page Updated
25 AugIt’s about time I finally get around to putting some content into those lonely little pages for each of us at the top of the blog. I got inspiration from a question one of my pea friends asked me, and I set out to catalog Jonah’s vocabulary. I had no idea he knew THAT many words… and I’m probably forgetting some, but he’s got over 30 words that he uses daily and then that many more that he uses every once in a while, or when you ask him! I was shocked to say the least! If you want to see the list, check out his bio page!
A new look!
11 AugFirst off, thanks for visiting our site so often! I love looking at my site hit chart and seeing how many people visited us each day. I really love all the comments!
I knew when I started this page that I’d want to make some changes, and play with the look of things, but I’m still having to learn how all of this blogging stuff works. I’m no good at CSS programing, so I can’t change it manually. I just had to find a template that I could work with to make it look like I wanted. I got frustrated with how the old layout would overlap the words in my topics side bar list, and I like that this one doesn’t do that. Since I loved the image from the old layout though, I snatched it and tweaked it in photoshop to make it match the colors of this new page layout better. I’m pretty happy with how my new page header came out. Any further suggestions for our page?
